Main duties of the job

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include providing care for presenting patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice. You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required. Experience in a Primary Care setting is essential, along with being an NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice or working towards a non-medical prescriber. A minor injury and illness qualification is essential, and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care is necessary. It is preferred that the ideal candidate is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or an MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.

Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:

  • Experience in a Primary Care setting.
