The Danesgate Community is a specialist setting for 5-16 year olds with social, emotional and mental health needs.   Danesgate is a very welcoming and vibrant place to work and offers significant opportunities for professional development for anyone who is committed to working with vulnerable young people. The REACH element of our offer will come under the umbrella of Danesgate Community but you will be tasked with developing and leading a hub which offers dynamism, vibrancy and a proactive attitude.  We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Outreach manager who will be able to work under pressure, use their own initiative and create an environment of professional curiosity and creative solutions 

The successful candidate will work under the Assistant Headteacher for Primary and Headteacher, alongside key staff to provide an Outreach offer that is suitable for the city. This will include working with SENCOs, headteachers, trust managers etc. The successful candidate must have experience managing staff, an understanding of SEN and up to date knowledge about interventions and support packages available to schools. This is an exciting and challenging position, which would start as soon as possible.
