Main duties of the job

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner will be a key member of the Operose Health team, tasked with delivering excellent primary care. The role involves providing care for patients through initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. The practitioner must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills within the general practice. Collaboration with the general practice team is essential to meet patient needs, support policy and procedure delivery, and provide nurse leadership when required. This position requires experience in a Primary Care setting and NMC registration. Ideal candidates are encouraged to have qualifications in minor injury and illness, and a Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner designation is preferred, although candidates with accreditation on a MSc course to ACP status are also welcome.

Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
