Join Our Passionate Team – Make a Real Difference in Young Lives!

At Conwy County Borough Council, we’re proud to be a forward-thinking, ambitious authority at the heart of North Wales. We’re committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred services that truly make a difference in our communities.

Our Integrated Disability Service is on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our vibrant team, supporting children and young people up to the age of 25.

This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to empower young people with disabilities to live full, meaningful lives. You’ll work closely with families, health professionals, and education partners to create tailored, outcome-focused support plans that reflect what really matters to each individual.

As a Social Worker in our team, you’ll:
• Champion a person-centred approach, helping young people develop their potential and achieve their goals.
• Be part of a truly integrated service, working hand-in-hand with Health and Education to provide holistic support.
• Build strong, trusting relationships that foster independence, inclusion, and choice.
• Join a team that values innovation, collaboration, and compassion.
We’re looking for someone with vision, energy, and empathy – someone who believes in the power of possibility and is ready to help shape brighter futures.

Why Join Us?
We believe in supporting our staff as much as we support our communities. Here’s what you can expect:
• Hybrid working policy – enjoy the flexibility of working from home during the week.
• A culture that values work-life balance, trust, and autonomy.
• Opportunities for professional development, career progression, and ongoing support.
• Conwy rewards and other employee benefits.
If you’re ready to make a lasting impact and grow your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment, we’d love to hear from you.

This role offers flexible working options for a work life balance. This can include adjusting your working day and hybrid working, ie a balance of office and home working.
