Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ward clerk to join our team in the endoscopy department.

Our department provides a service for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

The post holder will act as first point of communication with patients attending the endoscopy department.

Our aim as a team is to provide an excellent experience from admission to discharge for our patients.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be expected to undertake general clerical duties

Have good communication skills with patients

Have IT skills preferred knowledge of the hospital computer systems.

The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:

Standard Check: £21.50 + Administration cost of £6.50 = £28.00. Deducted from salary over following 4 months or one off payment.

Enhanced Check: £49.50 + administration cost of £6.50 = £56.00. Deducted from salary over following 4 months or one off payment.
