Job summary
It is an exciting time to join our Podiatry team in Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust and we are seeking 3 Full Time band 6 Specialist Podiatrists to join us as we continue to build upon existing models and introduce new ways of working. Our transformation plans over the next 12 months will include a more high risk focused service, MDT working and improving our digital offer.
The successful candidate will be part of a highly motivated team, providing a high standard of clinical care. To be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of Podiatric care to a variety of patients with a wide range of clinical needs. Care will be provided in a range of settings. (community, acute, patients' home, GP surgeries, nursing homes, community and hospital based mental health, Across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale & Craven.
Experience of working with the high risk foot and knowledge of biomechanics is preferred.
This is a generic Band 6 role with opportunities to develop in specialist areas.

Main duties of the job

Care will be provided in a range of settings. (community, acute, patients' home, GP surgeries, nursing homes, community and hospital based mental health).
Wound care and Foot Protection both in community clinics, hospitals and patients homes will form the basis of the role with some biomechanics input.
