Due to employee progression, Conwy's Permanency and Pathways Team is looking for enthusiastic, committed Social Workers to join our Children, Families and Safeguarding Service. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced Social Workers who are ready to make a real difference to the lives of Children Looked After and Care Leavers.

The Permanency and Pathways Team works with children and young people who are looked after, care experienced and preparing for adulthood. Our focus is on securing safe, stable and lasting family arrangements, supporting reunification where appropriate, and helping young people achieve positive futures through effective pathway planning.

About you
You will:
• Hold a recognised Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, CQSW or DipSW).
• Be registered with Social Care Wales or eligible for registration.
• Have a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children, young people and families.
• Be able to build strong relationships and work effectively with partner agencies.
• Have knowledge of relevant social work legislation and safeguarding practice.
• Be able to travel regularly throughout the county as required.
