Main duties of the job

CHEC is launching a new NHS Community Gynaecology Service, and we're seeking an experienced Specialist Women's Health Sonographer to support us on a bank contract basis and support the organisation in delivering high-quality diagnostic services for women closer to home.

Job description

You'll independently perform and report pelvic ultrasound examinations, supporting the investigation and diagnosis of a wide range of women's health conditions including: Heavy menstrual bleeding Pelvic pain Endometriosis Fibroids Adenomyosis Ovarian cysts PCOS Urogynaecological conditions Working within community diagnostic pathways, you'll contribute to one-stop clinics, multidisciplinary reviews and streamlined referral pathways that improve patient experience and outcomes.
