Job summary

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Cardiographer to join our friendly Cardiac Physiology team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This role is essential in supporting the delivery of high-quality cardiac diagnostic services, including ECGs, ambulatory ECG monitoring, and blood pressure monitoring.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the timely diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular disease, helping to maintain service capacity, reduce waiting times, and support excellent patient care. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive department committed to staff development and continuous improvement.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will perform a range of cardiac diagnostic investigations, including 12-lead ECGs, ambulatory ECG monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. Based primarily at Dorset County Hospital, the role may also support the delivery of community-based diagnostic services as required. The post holder will provide high-quality patient care, ensure accurate data collection and reporting, maintain diagnostic equipment, and work closely with the wider Cardiac Physiology and multidisciplinary teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular disease.
