Please note: This role is a 18.75 hour job share.

Main duties of the job

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver a broad range of quality assurance activities
  • Use data and insight to provide assurance on service quality and identify improvement priorities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance health outcomes, patient safety, and overall experience
  • Provide expert guidance and support across all departments within the Trust
  • Ensure the Trust can demonstrate high standards of care and provide assurance to internal and external stakeholders

You will have the authority and autonomy to:

  • Monitor and review the quality of services across the Trust
  • Intervene where necessary to protect patient care and safety

Job description

The NSFT Quality Team is committed to developing a robust, organisation-wide approach to total quality management, focused on improving service user experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development of innovative and effective systems that support the delivery of high-quality care
  • Drive the quality assurance and quality control agenda across all services
  • Monitor performance and hold Localities and services accountable for maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ensure that performance challenges are addressed proactively to safeguard quality, safety, and patient experience

You will work closely with the Directors for Safer Care and Quality to support delivery of Trust objectives, particularly where performance impacts on care quality and outcomes.
