Work base: Various Schools

An enthusiastic person is required to provide catering for the students, staff and visitors.

To provide school meals in accordance with centrally agreed menus and undertake the associated
supervisory duties.

The main duties of the post will include: 
1. Travel to the school kitchen in Conwy County Borough Council area where assistance is
needed.
2. Provide on the job training for new cooks and colleagues.
3. Cooking the meals required, portion control, food service, ordering, washing up and cleaning of
kitchen and dining room.
4. Be prepared to undergo appropriate training and development (sometimes outside normal
working days/hours by prior arrangement) i.e. Intermediate Food Hygiene and Basic Nutrition.
5. Associated clerical duties.

Due to the nature of the work, it will be necessary to obtain a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as the Criminal Records Bureau).
