Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, forward thinking Administration Manager (37.5 hours per week, permanent) to join the Specialist Perinatal Service.

We are seeking an experienced Administration Manager with a can-do attitude who enjoys working in a large team and demonstrates a commitment to delivering high quality administration management and support in an efficient and timely manner.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for the delivery of high-quality management of the Specialist Perinatal Services (Specialist Perinatal Team, PETALS, Outreach Team and Andersen Ward Mother & Baby Unit) including, but not exhaustive of Administrative Supervisors, Medical Secretaries, Team Secretaries, ward clerks the Perinatal teams.

The post holder will be required to work across the Perinatal footprint, supporting teams within each cluster to ensure the delivery of a high-quality and consistent administrative service. The post holder will assist the development of staff teams to ensure quality of service and administrative function. You will assist the Administration & Performance Manager in the development of local policies and procedures, along with the dissemination and training of these policies and procedures.

The post holder will also ensure that achievement of the national standards are met within their area and provide a confidential, efficient and service user friendly approach to each service within the division.
