Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and motivated Personal Assistant to join the Chief Nurse CSU at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Working as part of the CSU Central Team, you will provide a comprehensive PA and administrative service to the General Manager, helping to ensure the effective coordination and day-to-day running of the service. The role is based at Trust Headquarters, St Jamess University Hospital, with a requirement to work across Trust sites and remotely where needed.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, communication and IT skills who can manage competing priorities, work independently and build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels. You will support diary and meeting management, prepare agendas and minutes, maintain effective information and administrative systems, coordinate follow-up actions and handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

What you will bring to the role We are looking for someone who can bring:
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience of providing effective administrative and secretarial support.
- Experience of organising and supporting meetings, including preparing agendas, taking complex minutes and tracking actions.
- Strong diary management skills and the ability to coordinate busy schedules.
- Confidence in dealing professionally with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and exercise judgement when dealing with enquiries.
- A professional, flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Integrity and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
