Main duties of the job

The position of Domestic Assistant at Akari Care in Rochester is for a 14-hour contract role that is integral to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the facility. The assistant will work closely with the domestic and laundry teams to ensure high standards are consistently met in both personal and communal spaces. This role requires a passion for caring for the elderly and a dedication to improving the lives of the residents. Ideal candidates should be able to quickly adapt to changes and handle pressure without affecting those around them negatively. Strong work ethics, a solution-based approach to problem-solving, and an engaging persona are highly valued.
