An exciting opportunity has arisen for a salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team working across Brook Health Centre and Rotherfield Surgery.

We are looking for an enthusiastic GP who is committed to delivering high quality, patient-centred care and who would like to be part of a supportive and developing primary care organisation.

We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced GPs and are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements to support a positive work-life balance.

We also welcome applications from overseas candidates and are able to provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship (formerly Tier 2) for eligible applicants, subject to UK Visas and Immigration requirements.

Responsibilities

As a salaried GP, you will provide general medical services to our patient population and work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Undertaking face-to-face, telephone and other appropriate patient consultations

Assessing, diagnosing and managing a broad range of acute and long-term conditions

Prescribing and reviewing medication in accordance with current guidance

Making appropriate referrals and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals

Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records

Contributing to clinical meetings, quality improvement and practice development

Supporting effective multidisciplinary working across the practice

Participating in appropriate clinical governance, safeguarding and patient-safety processes

Contributing to the continued development and delivery of high-quality primary care services

Requirements

You will be a qualified GP with

Full GMC registration

Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers list

Appropriate medical indemnity

Excellent clinical and communication skills

A commitment to safe, compassionate and patient-centred care

The ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

An interest in contributing to the continued development of the practice

About us

Sussex Primary Care (SPC) provides primary care services across six GP practices in Sussex. We are committed to providing high quality care to our patients while creating a supportive working environment in which our staff can develop and thrive.

Brook Health Centre and Rotherfield Surgery provide primary care services across two sites in Crowborough, caring for approximately 7,000 patients.

You will work as part of an established multidisciplinary team including GPs/ANPs/Nurses/Pharmacists/Paramedics, supported by an experienced practice and administrative team.
