Lecturer in ArtUniversity
Please note, this role is fixed term until 31st July 2027
We are looking for a Lecturer in Art to contribute to running our level 1 and 2 programmes, where you will provide outstanding teaching to ensure that all our learners succeed and achieve their highest potential.
As a Lecturer in Art, you may teach on a range of courses including our level 3 programme and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation, and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed.
You will:
Teach and assist in the coordination of a range of courses in the Performing Arts programme area
Contribute to an excellent learner experience, and support students to reach their highest potential
Produce, publish and manage effective and complete programme delivery plans
Positively engage all learners within classes using a range of effective techniques

We are looking for someone with:
GCSE A* - C / 9 - 4 in Maths and English or equivalent as a minimum
A degree in Art
A PGCE is desirable but not essential
Experience of working with 16–18-year-olds.
Experience of high needs students
An up-to-date knowledge of the relevant curriculum
