Job summary
Chapelgreen is a well-established, friendly and forward-thinking practice serving approximately 15,000 patients across our Burncross and High Green sites in North Sheffield.
We are expanding our salaried GP team and offer a supportive environment with a strong focus on work-life balance, staff wellbeing and sustainable patient care.

- Protected administrative time, including dedicated results sessions
- Pro-rata blocked time for administrative work Capped administrative workload per session

- An in-house pharmacy team supporting medications and discharge summaries
- Paired duty doctors supported by Clinical Care Coordinators

Main duties of the job
To support the partners and other members of the Primary Health Care Team in providing a full range of clinical services to a high standard for the benefit of all our registered patients and non-registered patients where necessary.
Ensure clinical notes are accurate, up to date and appropriate
Ensure qualifications are maintained and updated as necessary and undertake appropriate training/retraining/revalidation as required to perform the duties of the role.

Job description
The successful candidate will support the practice in delivering a high standard of patient care to our registered population of 15000 across two sites (Burncross surgery and High Green health centre).
Responsibilities include:
- Surgeries- a mix of Face to Face and telephone calls
- Home visits
- Reviewing and actioning test results and prescription requests and documents
- Making appropriate referrals to secondary care and external services
- Clinical supervision of registrars, ARRS roles and medical students- with protected time within allocated clinics.
The role will involve a mixture of routine clinics and duty doctor sessions on rotation. We operate a double duty doctor system- with an experienced GP.
Acting as duty doctor on rotation.

We provide structured support for trainees, including protected 20-minute debrief slots per registrar for supervision and feedback.
Clinical System
We use SystmOne as our clinical system.
