[Internal] Engagement Officer - Communications TeamCouncil

INTERNAL JOB. This vacancy is only available to Torfaen County Borough Council (TCBC) employees and agency workers currently engaged with TCBC.

22.5 hours per week 

We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic, and motivated person to join the Communications and Engagement Team.  

You will be required to lead and promote public engagement across the council and work with the local service board to deliver strategic engagement in line with corporate plan priorities, including the new Torfaen Deal. 

You will also work with the Children and Young People Engagement and Participation Officer to co-ordinate engagement activities where appropriate.  

As the successful candidate you will have the proven experience to coordinate borough-wide engagement activities, integrate public engagement into the business of the council and lead on the development of the council’s engagement tools and techniques.  

You will also manage the council’s online engagement hub and people’s panel and support the council to undertake meaningful and principled public and staff engagement and consultation activities.
