Successful candidates will be supported through a structured development pathway with mentorship from our experienced Advanced Practice team.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of integrated MSK care within a Single Point of Access (SPA) service, alongside a team of Advanced Practice Physiotherapists, MSK Consultants and GPs with Extended Roles. You will play a key role in ensuring patients receive the right intervention, in the right place, at the right time. As an autonomous practitioner, you will undertake advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of patients presenting with a wide range of complex musculoskeletal conditions. You will be responsible for independently requesting, interpreting and acting upon diagnostic investigations, including imaging results, and making informed decisions regarding patient management. Working across primary and secondary care interfaces, you will coordinate onward referrals into specialist services where appropriate, helping to streamline pathways and improve patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to develop advanced clinical expertise while making a tangible impact on local MSK services.
