Job summary
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and organised individual to join our friendly Neurophysiology and Diagnostic Imaging team.
This is a varied, patient-focused role supporting staff across Neurophysiology, Ultrasound and Mammography. You will help patients throughout their journey, providing clinical assistance, chaperoning, basic observations, patient escorts and support during examinations and procedures, alongside reception and administrative duties.
Working as part of a busy multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure patients receive a safe, efficient and positive experience. If you have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with people and are keen to develop your clinical skills, we would love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive clinical and technical support to the consultant Neurophysiologist Radiologists, physiologist sonographers, radiographers and the patients attending Diagnostic Appointment. The job role will involve a shift pattern of working over seven days per week. The post will involve working between Neurophysiology and Diagnostic imaging

We are looking for a caring, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team, providing clinical and administrative support across Neurophysiology and Diagnostic Imaging, including Ultrasound and Mammography.
This varied role involves working closely with physiologists, radiographers, sonographers, radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support the safe and efficient delivery of patient care. Duties will include acting as a chaperone and clinical assistant, preparing patients and clinical areas for examinations and procedures, undertaking basic patient observations, assisting with patient movement and escorts, and supporting invasive procedures within your level of training and competence.
You will also provide reception and clerical support, maintain accurate patient information, assist with clinical systems and image or record processing, monitor basic stock levels, and help ensure clinical areas and equipment are clean, tidy and appropriately prepared.
The role includes supporting patients of all ages, abilities and levels of mobility, including ward and community patients, and may involve working in a range of clinical environments, including community hospitals and ITU.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, a compassionate and patient-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy multidisciplinary team. Full training will be provided for duties appropriate to the role, with all clinical activities undertaken in accordance with local procedures, protocols and competency requirements.
