University College Birmingham is looking for two highly effective Lecturers in Maths (FE) to join our team: one permanent full-time and one permanent 0.8 FTE part-time post.

We are seeking strong FE classroom practitioners with experience of teaching GCSE Maths and supporting learners from a wide range of starting points, abilities, and prior experiences of the subject with a clear commitment to helping learners succeed in Maths

The successful candidates will plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive and engaging GCSE Maths lessons, using a range of teaching and assessment strategies to check understanding, address misconceptions and support students to make good progress.

You will have high expectations of learners, build positive relationships in the classroom and adapt your teaching effectively to meet individual needs. You will also use assessment and progress information to identify areas of concern early and put effective support and interventions in place.

Please note there are 2 roles available:

Permanent, Full-time x 1
Permanent, Part-time (30 hours per week) x 1
