You will take the lead monitoring operational performance across Soft FM, ensuring compliance with legislation. Develop systems, measure performance, gather accurate data to support highquality reports. This is a key position to champion best practice.
You will be responsible for
Daily management of Soft FM provide efficient and effective services to wards and departments in Choice sites, ensuring the service is responsive.
Overseeing all aspects of Domestic, Linen and Portering service, ensuring staff are fully trained, competent
Monitoring external nonclinical service contracts, Linen Services, Hygiene Services, and Equipment Maintenance
Develop robust administrative systems to ensure accurate and timely recording of ESR data, sickness, appraisals, training, annual leave and the supervision of National Standards of Cleanliness audits and National Standards for porters.
Build an understanding of the service, fostering strong working relationships with Domestic Services & Portering/Transport teams and service users supporting a responsive customerfocused team
Main duties of the job
Duties include;
Developing and implementing procedures to monitor service performance in line with Service Level Agreements and external contracts, Domestic and Linen
Ensuring monitoring data is accurately recorded, analysed, and reviewed, with appropriate action plans developed and audit activity completed.
Support the annual appraisal process for departmental staff
Managing staff attendance in line with the Choice Attendance Management Policy, including conducting attendance management meetings.
Reporting to the Patient Services Manager, Hotel Service Manager and Head of Facilities on performance of service providers re-National Standards of Cleanliness and National Standards for Porters
Demonstrating flexibility by working during the normal week, evenings, and weekends in line with service needs. Domestic & Linen Manager, Porter/Transport (Training & Compliance)
Job description
To monitor operational performance standards within Hotel Services and provide a mechanism for the measurement of compliance against all legislative and published guidelines and healthcare standards. To collate credible and robust information on performance standards for the composition of reports. The role has a particular focus on Domestics National Standards of cleanliness and Portering National Standards will be your main focus.
