Band 5, £32,073 - £39,043 Per annum pro rata

Part time, 30 per week

Milton Keynes University Hospital is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses -- including Graduate Nurse and those new to the NMC Register and Student Nurses due to qualify in 2026 -- to join our Medical and Surgical Divisions. The Trust is currently offering 30 hours contracts with opportunities across various specialities/Divisions. There is a possibility to increase to full time 37.5hours in the future.

The post holder will work independently, in conjunction with the wider nursing team to deliverand maintain a high standard of nursing care, within the framework of National and Trustpolicies, referring to senior colleagues as needed.To be responsible for all aspects of patient care including the assessment, planning, delivery,and evaluation of personalised care, ensuring patients feel safe, supported and informed tomake decisions regarding their care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary teamto maintain safe and effective care at all times.

NHS Staff Survey: Nursing and Midwifery are always learning in their job roles, rated 6.31 out of 10.

To be responsible for the unsupervised assessment of patient care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of plans of care, ensuring high standards of evidence-based care.

To formulate evidence-based programmes of care based on an assessment and evaluation of patient needs.

To recognise changes in patients conditions and respond appropriately to the situation in line with Trust policies, escalating concerns as required
