The program has been accredited by NCA in the US and QAA in the UK. Being a college with English as the teaching language, there are 1,100 undergraduate students taught by over 70 full-time international faculty in the college in this academic year. Subjects offered in ICB cover a wide range of studies including Economics, Communication, Agribusiness, International Finance, Business Administration, etc.

Job Description:

This is a full-time teaching position to teach Composition related courses to undergraduate students.

Class size: 25 - 35 students

Teaching facilities and materials: multimedia classrooms, English textbooks and reference materials

Begin date of next Fall semester: September, 2027.

Responsibilities:

Teach two to four courses per year in Composition I,Composition II g, etc. on the east campus of CAU

Advise and mentor students

Participate in college activities

Requirement:

A Ph.D or Master degree in English (Rhetoric & Composition), or a closely related discipline, received from reputable universities

At least two years of college-level teaching experience

Fluent English capacity

English teaching certification, e.g. TEFL, CELTA, OR TESOL

Open to cultural differences

Good communication skills

Compensation and Benefits:

£30,000-£40,000 (before tax) per year commensurate with rank, background and experience, in accordance with teaching hours and working load.

Salary will be paid in RMB (Chinese currency) to a local bank account
