Experience of teaching and supervising undergraduate & postgraduate students.

A proven ability to lead, develop and grow a research area, team or community.

This is an exciting time to join the University of Bristol.

You will join a School of Computer Science that is expanding significantly and forms a key part of the University's new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, a landmark development designed to bring together researchers, students, industry and public sector partners to tackle some of society's biggest challenges. BCSG is a flagship tenant in Temple Quarter, occupying its new bespoke facility in August 2026, complete with CNI lab, dedicated IoT lab and secure data centre.

BCSG offers a uniquely supportive and collaborative environment, with over 80 researchers working across multiple disciplines and a strong portfolio of major research programmes, doctoral training initiatives and industry partnerships.
