This is a full-time Locum Consultant Plastic Surgeon post at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust. It is an evolving role following retirement of a substantive colleague.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will join a team of consultant plastic surgeons and will contribute to a comprehensive consultant-led plastic surgery service. They will have broad experience in all aspects of plastic surgery. The appointee will participate in the on-call rota, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes

Job description

This locum Consultant Plastic Surgeon post provides an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team supporting the delivery of specialist Plastic Surgery services, with a particular focus on sarcoma reconstruction and lower limb trauma. The successful applicant will contribute to the assessment, surgical management and ongoing care of patients requiring complex reconstructive procedures, working closely with regional and tertiary specialist teams. The role includes participation in clinical governance, teaching and service development activities.
