Job summary

Provides autonomous rehabilitation for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, working across different outpatient settings. The role combines opportunities for clinical development alongside leadership, education, service development and research.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will:

Provide high quality rehabilitation of MSK patients assessed by a physiotherapist and referred from primary and secondary care including T&O, Neurosurgery and Rheumatology.

Manage and maintain gym environment with responsibility for general upkeep of gym and rehabilitation equipment

Support physiotherapists in treating and managing patients with a variety of conditions and backgrounds, including 1:1 and class rehabilitation.

Be involved with departmental quality improvement projects and service evaluation/change

Lead on regular department audits and developing actions plans

Champion patient-centred care, shared decision-making, and effective communication
