An exciting post is available for an audiologist who would enjoy a large, busy department that offers a wide range of clinical services.

The ideal candidate must be someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about excellent evidence-based service delivery who thrives working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver diagnostic and rehabilitation services for adults with a range of pathologies and degrees of hearing loss.

You will be part of a large, friendly team who strives to practice the Trust values of being kind, excellent, responsible and respectful towards patients and colleagues alike.

The Audiology Department is based across St George's Hospital and 3 community sites nearby, all within reach by public transport. The successful candidate will be providing adult diagnostics and routine and more complex hearing aid work. With the service providing adult and paediatric hearing, tinnitus and vestibular as well as auditory implant services, this gives opportunity for exposure to other areas of clinical interest.

Main duties of the job

• To work with other members of the Audiology team to provide a high quality service to hearing impaired patients and patients encountering problems with balance and/or tinnitus in St Georges University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
• A qualified audiologist who has progressed with sufficient experience to no longer requires direct supervision for routine work.
