We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of HR Business Partnering to join the Health in Justice service at Practice Plus Group.
This role is predominantly home based, however there will be occasional travel to sites and London or Theale for meetings.
This is a senior strategic HR leadership role, with management responsibility for a team of 7. You will lead HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Organisational Development, Leadership Development, Wellbeing, and Workforce Planning activities across Health in Justice.
This role will give you the opportunity to work closely with the National Leadership Team and Senior Leaders to develop a high-performing workforce, improve employee engagement and wellbeing, and ensure organisational effectiveness and legal compliance.
Salary & Hours
This position is full time, working 37.5 hours per week and you will receive an annual salary of £80,000 - £85,000 per annum, plus £4,000 car allowance. You will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus of 10%.

Main duties of the job
As the Head of HR Business Partnering your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Lead the HR Business Partnering function across Health in Justice.
- Develop and implement the People Plan.
- Partner with senior leaders on workforce strategy and planning.
- Provide coaching, challenge, and support to senior management teams.
- Lead the Employee Relations strategy and governance framework.
- Oversee complex employee relations cases.
- Manage employment tribunal claims, ACAS matters, and legal risks.
- Drive proactive workforce risk management and employee retention initiatives.
- Promote inclusive leadership behaviours and organisational culture.
- Support succession planning and leadership talent development.
- Lead the Learning & Development team.
- Drive organisational culture, effectiveness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead organisational design and workforce transformation projects.
- Lead workforce planning activities.
- Develop succession planning and talent management frameworks.
- Identify and manage workforce risks.
- Lead organisational wellbeing programmes.
- Oversee employee engagement initiatives and action plans.
- Use workforce data to improve retention and employee experience.
- Lead HR aspects of restructures, TUPE transfers, and service redesign.
- Support contract mobilisation and business growth.
