Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the division of Women's, Children's and Clinical Services for a Service Manager. This role represents an excellent opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic manager looking to take up a challenging and stimulating role within a well-established division. Reporting directly to the General Manager the post-holder will provide operational leadership and service level management support across the department of Sexual Health Services.

Main duties of the job

The Service Manager for Sexual Health Services role is fast-paced, challenging, and demanding. You will require excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will be an effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently and lead teams and workstreams with confidence. The role offers significant opportunities for professional development and involvement in key Trust-wide projects on behalf of the Divisional Management Team.

The successful candidate will bring NHS and/or private sector management experience, with evidence of implementing service strategies and delivering challenging access, operational, and financial performance targets. Services are delivered across four boroughs .

You will be able to influence and motivate others, support service improvement initiatives, and lead teams through periods of change. The ability to think innovatively and communicate effectively with a wide range of departments, teams, and external agencies is essential.

The post requires cross-site working, primarily in Brent and Harrow, with occasional travel to Ealing and Hillingdon. Flexibility to work across sites is essential.
