Salary from £36,513 to £41,565 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,468 pa inclusive of London allowance

Funding for this appointment is available for 15 months

EarthCap is a global research and action initiative hosted by LSE's Grantham Research Institute and Global School of Sustainability, working to embed climate risk, natural capital and resilience into economic and financial decision-making. This post provides executive support to EarthCap's Executive Director Nicola Ranger and senior leadership team, plus programme administrative support to Jessica Flack.

The post holder will provide high-level secretarial and executive support to the Executive Director and two Deputy Directors, including complex diary and inbox management, meeting organisation and follow-up on action points, and support for travel and stakeholder relationships. They will also manage business operations tasks such as expenses and invoicing, draft correspondence, and provide logistical support for events, while helping to build systems that keep the team running smoothly.

Candidates should have

Excellent IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to create and maintain databases

Experience of and ability to plan and organise activities of others, including taking responsibility for all logistics and co-ordinating activity related to meetings, seminars and other events

Ability to undertake complex diary and inbox management at Director level, ensuring emails are directed or dealt with in a timely fashion

Excellent command of the English language and the ability to understand and convey information in a clear and accurate manner both orally and in writing
