Domestic Assistant - Central Park Rehabilitation Unit, Manchester We are currently recruiting for a Domestic Assistant to join the team at Central Park Rehabilitation Unit, Manchester.
Position Details
- Role: Domestic Assistant
- Location: Central Park Rehabilitation Unit, Manchester
- Hours Available: 1 x 20-hour position
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Shifts: Early and late shifts
- Additional Requirements: Occasional weekend working may be required to meet service needs
Main duties of the job
- Cleaning Duties: Perform routine and deep cleaning of wards, offices, corridors, toilets, and clinical areas to meet infection control standards.
- Waste Management: Safely dispose of clinical and domestic waste following NHS protocols.
- Use of Equipment: Operate cleaning machinery (e.g., floor buffers, vacuum cleaners) and ensure proper maintenance.
- Stock Management: Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages.
- Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, COSHH guidelines, and infection prevention procedures.
