Job summary

The Director of Urgent Care and Medicine will be responsible for the day to day operational running of the unscheduled care elements of the organisation.

The Director of Urgent Care and Medicine will have oversight of the unscheduled care operational performance contributing to delivery of the Trust's strategic plan, by working in partnership with the divisional teams and external health economy partners to achieve the corporate objectives and to make a positive contribution to ensuring that the care provided is safe, personal and effective.

The postholder will represent the Trust at external meetings/forums as required and representing the best interests of the organisation.
