We are looking to appoint a Band 6 Specialist Nurse/Practitioner to our CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Home Treatment Team. This is an exciting opportunity for Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses/Social Workers with experience in mental health to develop and progress their skills within Crisis and Intensive Home Treatment and CAMHS.

The CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Home Treatment Team provides a 24/7 community crisis service for young people up to the age of 18 years. The team works long day, long twilight, and night shifts to support this service. The team also provides intensive intervention, home treatment, and in-reach support within the CAMHS inpatient and acute hospital settings.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and undertake the crisis assessment of young people, develop care plans, and provide psychological interventions in relation to the young person's presenting need. They will also lead and supervise interventions provided by junior staff.

The CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Home Treatment Team works closely with our CAMHS Inspire Inpatient Service and will support young people whilst they are inpatients to facilitate early discharge.
