Main duties of the job
About the Role:As an Associate Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our registered Biomedical Scientists in delivering high-quality laboratory services. Key responsibilities include:
- Looking after Specimen Reception and leading a team of Medical Laboratory Assistants.
- Participating in laboratory testing procedures across Haematology,Biochemistry,Point of Care Testing,Rapid COVID-19 Testing, andBlood Transfusionif required.
- Providing technical support to scientific staff within the Blood Sciences Department.
- Working collaboratively to ensure efficient and accurate processing of samples.
