Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator looking for a rewarding role within the NHS? We are seeking a Research Administrator Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality clinical research across Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research studies while helping ensure participants receive an excellent experience throughout their research journey.

Main duties of the job

As a Research Administrator Assistant, you will work closely with the Clinical Research Team to support the safe and effective delivery of research studies in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and research governance requirements. You will play a vital role in the administration, setup, maintenance and closure of clinical research studies while ensuring accurate record keeping and excellent participant support.

Based across sites including Musgrove Park Hospital, Yeovil District Hospital and other Somerset locations, this role offers variety and the opportunity to work alongside experienced research professionals making a real difference to patient care and future treatments.
