Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Support Officer to join the Procurement and Contracts Team. This role is ideal for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working with data, managing information, and supporting the effective delivery of services through robust contract management practices.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and contract support across a portfolio of contracts, ensuring contract information is maintained accurately throughout the contract lifecycle. Working closely with contract managers, suppliers, finance colleagues and service leads, you will support contract monitoring, performance reporting, invoice reconciliation and compliance activities. The role will play an important part in ensuring that contracts are effectively managed, key performance indicators are monitored, and contractual obligations are delivered in line with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.

Main duties of the job

As a Contracts Support Officer, you will provide day-to-day support to the Procurement and Contracts Team, maintaining contract records and supporting contract monitoring activities across a diverse portfolio of contracts. You will be responsible for ensuring contract information is accurate and up to date, preparing reports, coordinating meetings, maintaining action logs and supporting contract review processes.

The role will involve working with internal stakeholders, suppliers and external providers to obtain performance information, monitor compliance against agreed standards, and support the management of contract-related issues. You will also assist with invoice reconciliation, financial reporting and performance monitoring, helping to ensure contract activity is delivered within agreed budgets and in accordance with contractual requirements.
