Did you know that physical inactivity remains one of the biggest contributors to poor health, with around 1 in 4 adults doing less than 30 minutes of physical activity each week?

Movement 26.2 is a new national movement designed to help people build more activity into everyday life, starting with walking. It supports the prevention ambitions set out in the NHS 10 Year Health Plan by making physical activity feel simple and achievable.

Main duties of the job

You will support the planning and coordination of a communications and engagement approach that mobilises NHS organisations across the country to support the Movement 26.2 programme. This will include developing plans, core messaging, materials and toolkits, ensuring they complement existing prevention, personalised care, neighbourhood health and workforce wellbeing activity.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Business Support Administrator (Special Projects Marketing and Communications) to support communications, engagement and marketing activities for the Movement 26.2 programme.

This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to pursue a career in communications, engagement and marketing, working on a prominent national programme.

Our Integrated Care Board (ICB) is the largest in the country.
