Job description

The Role responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality general medical services to our patients
• Managing acute, chronic and preventative care
• Face-to-face, telephone and online consultations, online triaging
• Working collaboratively with our experienced multidisciplinary team
• Contributing to QOF, enhanced services, audit and quality improvement
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records
• Contributing to practice and service development
• For GP Partners, involvement in the leadership, governance and strategic direction of the practice

We are keen to support GPs with existing clinical interests and would welcome applicants wishing to develop new areas of expertise.

We are a friendly, progressive, and hardworking practice committed to providing high-quality care for our patient population. We are part of Moreton and Meols Primary Care Network and care for approximately 5,100 patients, as well as supporting a local care home. Home-visiting levels are low.

• An established clinical team comprising two GP Partners, one Salaried GP (vacancy advertised), one Advanced Nurse Practitioner, one Practice Nurse and one Healthcare Assistant
• A supportive environment in which colleagues are encouraged to develop and share special interests
• A training practice for University of Liverpool medical students, with two GP trainers, including an educational supervisor supporting ST3 trainees
• We provide minor surgery/ joint injections and have GP with special interest in dermatology.
