Job summary

We are looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Healthcare Bookings & Customer Service Administrator to join our team.

Main duties of the job

This is a varied office-based role, combining reception, customer service, administration and healthcare bookings. You will be one of the key points of contact for customers and clinics, ensuring calls and enquiries are handled professionally and appointments are booked accurately and efficiently.

The role would suit someone with experience in reception, customer service, healthcare administration or a busy office environment. Previous sales experience would be desirable but is not essential.

Job description

  • Answering and managing incoming telephone calls from customers, clinics and healthcare professionals.
  • Providing a professional, friendly and helpful service to customers and clinical teams.
  • Booking and coordinating appointments in line with clinical requirements and availability.
  • Managing minor operations bookings and associated administration.
  • Coordinating cardiac bookings, ensuring appointments are scheduled accurately and efficiently.
  • Supporting bookings and administration relating to neurology clinicians.
  • Liaising with clinics and clinicians to resolve booking queries and ensure services run smoothly.
  • Accurately updating patient/customer and appointment information on bespoke systems.
  • Using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as part of day-to-day administration.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is handled appropriately and confidentially.
  • Responding to customer and clinic queries by telephone and other communication channels.
  • Supporting the wider team with general administrative and operational tasks.
  • Working to agreed processes, service standards and deadlines.
  • Providing a consistently high standard of customer service.
