Job summary

We are seeking an exceptionalBand 7 Clinical Team Lead Dietitian to lead our friendly, high-performing Community Dietetic Service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician and leader to shape the future of community dietetics across Doncaster, combining expert clinical practice with operational leadership, service development and workforce support.

We're looking for a forward-thinking, values-driven Dietitian with a broad range of clinical experience and the ability to inspire, motivate and develop others. As Clinical Team Lead, you will provide professional and operational leadership to a skilled and dedicated team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care whilst driving continuous improvement and innovation across the service.

The successful candidate will bring excellent clinical credibility, strong operational awareness and a passion for developing services and people. You will be confident managing competing priorities, supporting performance and quality improvement, leading change and working collaboratively with colleagues and partners across organisational boundaries to improve outcomes for the communities we serve.

Main duties of the job

Provides strong clinical, managerial and operational leadership to the Dietetic Team by acting as a role model and by promoting and maintaining agreed standards of care to improve the patient's experience.

Works as an autonomous practitioner providing expert advice, assessment, education to patients, families, carers and professions in relation to specialist areas.

Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate evidence based person centred clinical care to patients and provide the necessary advice throughout the patients pathway ensuring partnership and integration between primary and secondary care services in specialist areas.

Responsible for efficient use of resources to ensure services are maintained and developed

Lead in the provision and evaluation of evidence based person centred clinical care to patients.

To be an expert clinical resources to members of the Dietetic team and other health care professionals to guide decision making
