Job summary

Exciting opportunities are available for highly motivated individuals to join our Domestic Services Department and be part of a front line team enhancing patient experience by delivering high standards of cleanliness.

We have the following roles available:

2 x 30 hours per week positions available; working 8.00am-2.00pm or 6am-12.00pm with alternate weekend working.

1 x 25 hours per week position available; working 5.00pm-10.00pm with alternate weekends

2 x 16 hour, weekend only positions working SAT/SUN 8am-4.30pm

Full training will be given.

Main duties of the job

• The role is multi-skilled, working across Cleanliness, Catering and Portering to support hospital services.
• Staff will work shifts including early, late, night and weekend hours as part of a rota.
• Duties include cleaning hospital areas, transporting patients and equipment, and helping with food service for patients, staff and visitors.
• Team members must follow health and safety rules, infection control procedures and food hygiene standards.
• The job involves physical tasks such as lifting, moving equipment and walking long distances.
• Staff will also provide support in emergencies and assist patients, visitors and clinical teams when needed
