The position requires adherence to standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, maintaining hotel service standards. Responsibilities include performing cleaning duties as per worksheet instructions, understanding the cleaning needs of different surfaces, and ensuring that all areas are well presented. Respect towards residents and their belongings is a crucial part of the job. Ideal candidates must have proper knowledge of Health and Safety practices, including Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience with public cleaning laundry, compassion, commitment to high-quality service, and the ability to be flexible and adaptive are essential qualities for the job.

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

• Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
• Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
