Main duties of the job

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their team as a Food and Beverage Assistant at Esher Manor Care Home in Surrey. The role involves supporting dining services and assisting residents with their meal choices, setting dining tables according to standard operating procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and replenishing the bistro areas with fresh cakes, biscuits, finger food, and fresh fruit. The ideal candidate will possess high standards of personal hygiene, demonstrate compassion and commitment to culinary service delivery, and have previous experience working in similar settings such as restaurants or hotels. A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial.

Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
