The Department has a substantial research programme, with major funding from Medical Research Council (MRC), Wellcome Trust and National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and provides highly rated medical training in psychiatry.  The Head of Department is Professor Belinda Lennox.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Research Fellow to contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of clinical psychiatry and artificial intelligence, with the goal of improving access to early intervention services and transforming preventive mental health care

About the Role

The post is funded for a year and is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.

You will conduct structured, semi-structured CHR-P clinical interviews. You will oversee and ensure safety during AI-assisted (ARIADNE-led) interviews. You will produce high-quality clinical summary reports following assessments.

About You

You will have a medical degree (MBBS MD or equivalent) with full GMC registration and strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice.  You will have demonstrable experience working with individuals with clinical populations in mental health settings. You will have excellent communication skills Demonstrable experience working with individuals with clinical populations in mental health settings.  Experience working in early intervention or CHR-P services would be desirable.
