Salary: Main Pay Scale/UPS + SEN

The Brades Lodge have an opportunity for a passionate, dynamic Teacher of English who is committed to making a genuine difference to the lives of challenging and vulnerable students.

Applications are welcome from ECTs, MS or UPS English teachers. Full support will be given to ensure a smooth transition to being part of an SEMH school team.

As a member of the English Department, you will have the opportunity to:

Teach small groups; class size is approx. 8 students.

Support students with a range of academic needs, from the gifted and talented pupils in need of stretch and challenge, to those working below age expected levels who require additional support.

Be part of an adaptable, friendly and motivated staff team.

Access high quality, relevant and meaningful CPD.

Be part of an established, supportive department.

Deliver AQA qualifications, including Step Up to English, GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature.

Work in a caring, nurturing environment where the well being of both pupils and staff is a priority.
