Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and successful school, working

We are seeking to appoint a proactive, reliable and highly motivated Caretaker who takes real pride

in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our children, staff and families.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our school buildings, grounds and

facilities are maintained to a high standard. Duties will include site security, general maintenance

and repairs, health and safety checks, supporting contractors, porterage and responding to day-today

site issues.

The Successful candidate will:

• Be conscientious and hardworking
• Have high standards and take a pride in their work
• Be punctual and reliable
• Be able to carry out basic maintenance and have proven DIY and repair skills enabling

maintenance tasks to be undertaken

• Be able to identify and prioritise their own workload, approaching all tasks with a “can do”

attitude

• Take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the whole site
• Be responsible for the day to day security of the site
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to
• be able to engage and manage external contractors
• Have excellent communication skills
