Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated multi-tasked Head & Neck Cancer Pathway Coordinator to join our Team based at Broomfield Hospital.

You will provide robust admin support to the Head & Neck and Site operational teams as required with the ability to be flexible and adaptable for the changing needs of the service.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a fast paced environment , together with excellent organisational skills, a confident telephone manner, good IT skills. Knowledge of cancer pathways and targets is essential.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for the provision of an effective administrative service to the Head & Neck Team. He/she/they will liaise with the multi-disciplinary team, internal departments and external agencies to ensure continuity in achieving excellence in patient care.

Support the clinical team, MDT team, Operational Managers and Patient Access Team in ensuring the service is able to deliver safe and effective care whilst also ensuring compliance with cancer waiting time targets, this will include the scheduling of appointments and weekly attendance at the Cancer PTL meeting.
