Exciting Bank Opportunities: Psychological Practitioners York and North Yorkshire Trailblazer Resilience Hub (hosted by Nimbuscare)

The Trailblazer Resilience Hub in York and North Yorkshire continues to support people who are out of work due to ill health, helping them return to meaningful employment. Delivered in partnership with Humber and North Yorkshire ICB and hosted by Nimbuscare, the Hub provides trauma-informed mental health and wellbeing services, linking people to local support networks and enabling sustainable outcomes.

We are offering flexible, ad hoc opportunities for Psychological Practitioners and on a zero-hours or locum contractor basis. You can choose to deliver sessions that fit around your existing portfolio, providing high-impact support while maintaining flexibility. We welcome applications from individuals able to commit to half a day, one day, two days, or more per week, depending on your availability.

Main duties of the job

About the Trailblazer Resilience Hub The Hub offers virtual psychological support, acting as a single point of access for timely, confidential, and high-quality care. It delivers trauma-focused interventions while collaborating with regional services, employers, and stakeholders to support people returning to work from long-term mental health sickness.

You will deliver psychological assessments and interventions, contribute to workforce training, and support strategic engagement across the region.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering trauma-focused psychological interventions for anxiety, depression, and trauma across the lifespan
• Supporting outreach and engagement initiatives across the region
• Collaborating with Primary Care Networks, Occupational Health, Mental Health providers, other NHS and independent care providers and other agencies
• Participating in group work, supervision, teaching, and research as required.
