Are you a skilled and compassionate critical care nurse seeking a rewarding opportunity? We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals as Band 6 nurses on our Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU) at The Royal London Hospital.

As the UK's largest trauma centre The Royal London Hospital is a leading specialist centre with an international reputation for caring for some of the most seriously injured patients in London and beyond. In addition to trauma ACCU also provides specialist care in neurosciences, acute general medical, surgical, and obstetric services.

You will be working within a highly skilled, dynamic multi-disciplinary team, in our busy and energetic 44 bedded ACCU. This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic nurses with previous critical care experience to play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. Main duties of the job

To provide the highest standard of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation ofindividualized, holistic patient care in conjunction with the inter-professional team.

As a proficient practitioner in critical care, the post holder acts as a professional role model and clinical teacher. He / she also provides effective mentorship and preceptorship, participatingin the education and training of nursing and non-nursing staff. He / she also takes charge ofthe Intensive Care Unit as required, liaising closely with the Senior Sister / Charge Nursewith continuing responsibility

Please note: When calculating the basic salary for sponsorship, HCAS (High Cost Area Supplement) is not included for non-medical roles. This ensures fairness and consistency within our organisation, as some of our sites fall under inner HCAS, while others are classified as outer HCAS.
